Brendan is a passionate believer that the right financial advice, tailored to your individual needs, can make a real and positive difference to almost anybody's financial position. Brendan in particular has a special affinity with people who are looking to grow and protect their wealth. Brendan specialises in devising and supporting personal financial strategies pertaining to wealth accumulation, wealth protection, pre retirement and post retirement.

Experience

Brendan has over 30 years’ experience in the finance and banking sector, including over 25 years as a licensed financial adviser.

Before founding FinNest Financial, Brendan was a senior financial adviser with iconic Queensland financial planning firm Whittaker Macnaught for the preceding ten years.

Qualifications

Brendan is a Certified Financial Planner and holds a Bachelor of Business from QUT.

Amy Matenga

Amy is our Client Service Manager.  Amy’s dedicated role is to ensure our operations and client support runs like a well-oiled machine!  Amy is an enthusiastic and dynamic professional, with a great eye for detail and someone who loves to think outside the square to solve a problem.

Amy has travelled the world and done things as diverse and interesting as teaching English in Japan and working as a volunteer at Olympic and Commonwealth Games.

Amy has over 10 years' experience in similar practice management and consultancy roles

Qualifications

Nina Bampton

As our Client Service Officer, Nina is a key member of our team here to support our valued clients.  You’ll find Nina a friendly and caring person who will go out of her way to make sure things are done well for you.

Outside of work, Nina loves spending time with family and relaxing with a good book.

Experience

Nina has over 15 years’ experience in administration support roles, not just in financial planning but also in the fields of education, construction and recruitment.

Louise Stone

Louise supports key and critical roles within FinNest Financial. Louise not only provides paraplanning services for our clients, but also manages our office and digital media presence, ensuring our clients are informed of the most relevant and topical information pertaining to planning, growing and protecting their financial future.

Louise provides invaluable support to our clients and the FinNest business. Louise’s cheery nature and zeal to help others makes dealing with her a pleasure.

Experience

Louise has over 20 years’ experience in banking and personal financial advice. Louise spent over ten years as a credit analyst with Suncorp, as well support roles in ANZ and Esanda. Louise’s most recent position before becoming part of the FinNest team was as a paraplanner with Burrell Stockbroking.
